Description
This illustrated guide shows our young people how they can enforce their rights when they have conversations with our practitioners, so they are not subject to any whims or changes of policy. It provides a baseline for them and from this foundation they can discuss how they want the support to be provided and tailored to their needs. From this foundation young people can be empowered to take either their concerns or ideas for transformation forwards. In the support we provide we have drawn upon Ofsted principles to create boundaries which provides young people with a sense of safety. In the meantime they also provide a way of discussing how we can enact a psychologically informed approach in implementing them. The overall focus is on safety and building trust whilst empowering our young people when managing risk.
