With this privacy policy we inform you about the scope of the processing of your personal data (hereinafter "data"). This privacy policy only applies to the website of Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE). This privacy policy does not apply to linked website that are not owned and controlled by Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE).

In principle, we will only use your personal data in accordance with the applicable data protection laws, in particular the UK`s Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and only as described in this privacy policy.

Personal data is any information relating to personal or material circumstances that relates to an identified or identifiable individual. This includes, for example, your name, date of birth, e-mail address, postal address, or telephone number as well as online identifiers such as your IP address. In contrast, information of a general nature that cannot be used to determine your identity is not personal data. This includes, for example, the number of users of a website. However, we reserve the right to put this data to additional uses to the extent permitted or required by law or necessary to support legal or criminal investigations. In this case, we will inform you again about this further data processing to the extent required by law and obtain your consent.

General information on data processing

In the course of our business and website operations, we process data. This also includes disclosure by transmission to third parties and, where applicable, to so-called third countries outside the UK and the EEA. Where we transfer data outside the UK or EEA, we have highlighted this accordingly below.

Data processing

The individual data concerned, processing purposes, legal bases, recipients and, where applicable,transfers to third countries are listed below:

a)Log file during website visit

We log your website visit. In doing so, we process:

  • Name(s) of our accessed web site(s),
  • date and time of the access,
  • the amount of data transferred,
  • the browser type and version,
  • the operating system you use,
  • the referrer URL (the previously visited web site),
  • your IP address,
  • the requesting provider.

The legal basis for data processing is our legitimate interest in the ongoing provision and security of our web site in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f GDPR.

The log file is deleted after seven days, unless it is needed to prove or clarify specific legal violations that have become known within the retention period.

b)Contacting us

If you contact us per e-mail or our contact or feedback form, we process the following data from you for the purpose of processing and handling your enquiry: Name, contact details -if provided by you-
and your message.The legal basis of the data processing is our obligation to fulfil the contract and/or to fulfil our pre-
contractual obligations in accordance with Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR and/or our legitimate interest in processing your enquiry in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR.

c)Registration

If you register on our website, we will request personal and, where applicable, non- personal data in accordance with our registration form this may include your name and email address. The entry of your data is encrypted so that third parties cannot read your data when it is entered.
The basis for this storage is our legitimate interest in communicating with interested users according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and, in the case of contracts, also the storage of contract data according to
Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.

Your data will remain stored for as long as the registration lasts, in particular the storage is still necessary for the fulfilment/execution of the contract, for legal prosecution by us or for our other legitimate interests or we are required by law to retain your data (e.g., within the framework of tax retention periods).

d)Orders

When ordering our books, it is necessary, among other things, to provide your name, e-mail address and postal address and, if applicable, your payment data. We process and store the personal data
provided when you place an order solely for the purpose of providing you with the ordered books.The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

e)Stripe

Payment by credit card and debit card is made via the payment service provider Stripe to which we pass on your mandatory details (e-mail address) provided during the checkout, for payment processing. Your data will only be passed on for the purpose of payment processing with the payment service provider Stripe and only insofar as it is necessary for this purpose. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

f)Contract fulfilment and data management in the context of service provision

We process various data within the framework of the provision of our services and for the initiation and processing of the existing contractual relationship between you and us.If you have commissioned us to provide a service, we process your data (if provided: Name, email address bank details) and all information that is necessary in the context of fulfilling the services,exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling the contractual relationship.

This includes in particular our appropriate advice and support, correspondence with you, invoicing,fulfilment of our accounting and tax obligations.Accordingly, the data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR as well as to fulfil our legal obligations pursuant to Art. 6 (1) c) GDPR.

g)Arrange an appointment

For booking an appointment in an easy and convenient way, we use Calendly of the company Calendly, LLC, 3423 Piedmont Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30305-1754, United States. Your data from the form will be transferred to our appointment account at Calendly after you press the "Book appointment" button.

You will then receive a confirmation email with a link to the event. Your data will be kept at Calendly until the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (appointment made) or you request us to delete it. Calendly undertakes not to pass on your data to third parties. The legal basis for the use of Calendly is our legitimate interest is the effective organization of our business.Further information on data protection at Calendly can be found at https://calendly.com/pages/privacy.

h)Comments and contributions in our blog

When users leave comments or other contributions, their IP addresses are stored for 7 days on the basis of our legitimate interests. This is done for our security in case someone leaves unlawful content in comments and posts (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, we ourselves can be prosecuted for the comment or post and are therefore interested in the identity of the author.Within the blog you may be able to display certain profile information, share certain details, engage with others, exchange knowledge and insights, post and view relevant content. Content and data are publicly viewable.

You have choices about the information on your comment. You don’t have to provide additional information on your comment; however, information helps you to get more from our Services. It’s your choice whether to include sensitive information on your comment and to make that sensitive information public. Please do not post or add personal data to your comment that you would not want to be available. The legal basis for the storage is our legitimate interest Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

i)Careers and Applications

If you apply for a role or job, we process the information we receive from you as part of the application process, e.g., through your letter of application, CV, references, correspondence,telephone, or verbal details. In addition to your contact details, information about your education,qualifications, work experience and skills is particularly relevant to us.

Your data will initially be processed solely for the purpose of carrying out the application process. If your application is successful, it will become part of your personnel file and will be used to carry out and terminate your employment and will be deleted in accordance with the rules applicable to personnel files. If we are unable to offer you employment, we will continue to process your data for up to six months after sending the rejection in order to defend ourselves against any legal claims, in particular alleged discrimination in the application process.

The legal basis for processing data during the application process is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR and, if you have given your consent, for example by sending us information that is not necessary for the application process, it is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. The legal basis for data processing after a rejection is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. As a rule, we do not require any special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR for the application process. We ask you not to provide us with any such information from the outset. If such information is relevant to the application process, we process it together with your other data. Your data will not be used by us for automated decision-making or profiling, nor will it be passed on to third parties. Your data will be processed by us or on our behalf.

You are not obliged to provide us with personal data. However, we can only assess your suitability for the respective position under consideration if we receive information in particular about your education, work experience and skills, and we cannot include you in the application process without providing your contact details.

j)Referrals

For the purposes of referrals will process the personal data you have provided to us in accordance with the consent of the third party you are referring and to provide our services. Accordingly, the data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) b) GDPR as well as Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR. You agree that, if you have provided us with personal data relating to a third party you have in place all necessary appropriate consents and notices to enable lawful transfer such personal data to us and that you have brought to the attention of any such third party this Privacy Policy. You agree to indemnify us in relation to all and any liabilities, penalties, fines, awards or costs arising from your non-compliance with these requirements.

k)Use of cookies

We use so-called cookies on our web site. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your respective device (PC, smartphone, tablet, etc.) and saved by your browser. For further information please refer to our Cookie Policy. The legal basis for the use of cookies is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR as well as our legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 f)GDPR.

l)Google Maps

We use the Google Maps service on our website to show you, our location. This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently.The legal basis for the use of Google Maps is our legitimate interest.By visiting the website, Google receives the information that you have called up the corresponding sub-page of our website. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists.

If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or designing its website in line with requirements.Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website.You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, and you must contact Google to exercise this right.

Cookie Consent manager

We have integrated the consent management tool “GDPR Cookie Consent” from CookieYes Limited,on our website in order to request consent for data processing or the use of cookies or comparable
functions. With the help of “GDPR Cookie Consent” you have the possibility to give or refuse your consent for certain functionalities of our website, e.g., for the purpose of integrating external
elements, integrating streaming content, statistical analysis, coverage measurement and personalised advertising.

You can use “GDPR Cookie Consent” to give or refuse your consent for all functions or to give your consent for individual purposes or individual functions. The settings you have made can also be changed by you afterwards.

The purpose of integrating “GDPR Cookie Consent” is to allow the users of our website to decide on the aforementioned matters and, in the course of further use of our website, to offer them the opportunity to change settings they have already made. In the course of using “GDPR Cookie Consent”, personal data as well as information of the end devices used, such as the IP address, are processed.

The legal basis for the processing is your consent in conjunction with our legitimate interest. Our legitimate interests in the processing lie in the storage of user settings and preferences in relation to
the use of cookies and other functionalities. “GDPR Cookie Consent” stores your data as long as your user settings are active.

After two years after the user settings have been made, you will be asked again for your consent. The user settings made will then be stored again for this period.You can object to the processing. Analysis / Marketing

a)Google NID

We use Google NID, a service provided by Google Inc. When you access a Google service, the browser sends this cookie along with your request for a page. The NID cookie contains a unique ID that we use to store your preferred settings and other information, such as your preferred language, and whether to enable the Google SafeSearch filter. The data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent and/or our
legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is the improvement of our offer and our web presence.

b) Integration of YouTube videos

We have integrated videos from the YouTube portal of YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave. San Bruno,CA 94066, USA (“YouTube”). Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4,Ireland (hereinafter “Google”) is responsible for data processing at YouTube. When playing the videos, however, log data is transmitted to YouTube’s servers in the USA.The legal basis for the data processing is our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our online offer in accordance with Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR.

Duration of data storage We only store personal data for as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or for as long as any consent you have given us has been revoked by you. Insofar as statutory retention obligations must be observed, the storage period for certain data may be up to 6 years, irrespective of the processing purposes.

Transfer of personal data

Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) will not disclose or otherwise distribute your personal data to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of our services (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR), you have consented to the disclosure (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR) or the disclosure of data is permitted by relevant legal provisions.
Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) is entitled to outsource the processing of your personal data in whole or in part to external service providers acting as processors for Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) pursuant to Art. 4 No. 8 GDPR within the framework of the data protection provisions. External service providers support us, for example, in the technical operation and support of the website, data management, the provision and performance of services,marketing, as well as the implementation and fulfilment of reporting obligations.The service providers commissioned by Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) process your data exclusively in accordance with our instructions.

Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) remains responsible for the protection of your data, which is ensured by strict contractual regulations, technical and organisational measures and additional controls by us.Personal data may also be disclosed to third parties if we are legally obliged to do so e.g., by court order (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR) or if this is necessary to support criminal or legal investigations or other legal investigations or proceedings at home or abroad or to fulfil Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE)’ legitimate interests (legal basis for processing: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Automated decision-making

Automated decision-making including profiling pursuant to Art. 22 (1) and (4) GDPR does not take place on the part of Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE).Direct marketing in the context of a customer relationship We use the data you provide to fulfil and process our contract and to respond to your enquiries in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR or on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a)
GDPR. Insofar as you have also given us your separate consent to process your data for consulting,marketing and advertising purposes, Living Interdependent Focused Environment (LIFE) is entitled to contact you for these purposes via the communication channels you have given your consent to.Your data subject rights

Upon request, we will provide you at any time and free of charge with information about all personal data that we have stored about you.

b)Correction, deletion, restriction of processing (blocking), objection

If you no longer agree with the storage of your personal data or if this data has become incorrect, we will arrange for the deletion or blocking of your data or make the necessary corrections (insofar as this is possible according to the applicable law) on the basis of a corresponding instruction. The same applies if we are only to process data in a restrictive manner in the future.

You have the right to object in particular in cases where your data is required for the performance of a task that is in the public interest or in our legitimate interest, as well as profiling based on this. You also have such a right of objection in the event of data processing for the purpose of direct advertising.

c)Right to revoke consent with effect for the future

You may revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. Your revocation will not affect the lawfulness of the processing up to the time of revocation.

d)Data portability

If data is processed on the basis of a contract, pre-contractual negotiations, consent or with the help of automated procedures, you have the right to data portability. Upon request, we will provide you with your data in a common, structured and machine-readable format so that you can transfer the data to another data controller if you wish.

The processing of users' personal data is based on our legitimate interests in providing users with effective information and communicating with users pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f. GDPR. If you are asked by the respective providers for consent to data processing, the legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a., Art. 7 GDPR./p>

If you are a member of a social network and do not want the network to collect data about you via our website and link it to your stored membership data with the respective network, you must log out of the respective network before visiting our website, delete the cookies on your device and close and restart your browser.
